Swimming
The Quad Cities has an undercurrent of very competitive swimmers and facilities. From spacious 8-lane natatoriums with diving wells at local YMCA’s and high schools to a brand new Augustana College facility that was one of the top swimming facilities in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) in 2021, the Quad Cities boasts a healthy roster of facilities and competitive swim teams.
Youth athletes can compete on any number of club swim teams. Augustana College and St. Ambrose University offer the opportunity to compete on collegiate swimming & diving teams. Augustana College has recently added water polo to its list of varsity sports, too.
