The Student-Athlete Experience

At the heart of this collegiate golf championship is an elevated student-athlete experience filled with meaningful on-course moments. We prioritize energizing activities and convenient amenities, including a complimentary lunch buffet provided during tournament play.

We remain committed to enhancing the tournament year after year—earning consistent praise from coaches, players, and spectators alike.

Tournament Play

TPC Deere Run is a championship-level course that hosts the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic annually. With national titles on the line, teams of five golfers (with the top four scores counting each day) compete in a four-round stroke play format. After 36 holes, the field is cut, and the top 15 teams and highest-ranking individuals advance.

Cut Day

By midweek, the field is narrowed. The top-performing teams and individuals continue into the final rounds, with the rest wrapping up their championship experience and heading home with memories and pride in their accomplishments.

Championship Day

The final round is always filled with excitement and intensity. On Friday, individual and team champions are crowned, and one program earns the honor of raising the coveted red banner—signifying the highest achievement in NAIA golf.

What to Know as a Spectator

The tournament is free to attend and open to the public. All spectators must remain on the cart path while watching play. Whether you're a fan of college athletics, a golf enthusiast, or simply looking to experience a nationally recognized event in the Quad Cities, this championship offers a unique and inspiring atmosphere.
