“We are so pleased to come back to the Quad Cities,” said Dione Masters, President, Strongman Corporation. “When we had to move the competition from Palm Beach, Fla., due to concerns of the effect of Hurricane Dorian, we were glad to return to a familiar place so we didn’t have to start from scratch with logistics.”
“We are excited to welcome back our friends from Strongman Corporation and their North American Amateur Strongman National Championships,” said Dave Herrell, President and CEO, Visit Quad Cities. “When we received the call and learned of their situation with Hurricane Dorian, we quickly moved into action to offer a plan so that they could host their event in the Quad Cities. We look forward to hosting nearly 200 athletes as they compete for the national title and potentially qualify for the world championships.”
The North American Amateur Strongman National Championships were held at the RiverCenter in 2015-2016.
