Inaugural D3 National Invite Brings Women's Wrestling to The Bend XPO

East Moline, IL (January 30, 2024) - Visit Quad Cities and Augustana College Women’s Wrestling are set to welcome over 25 women’s wrestling programs to the QC D3 National Invite on February 2-3 at the Bend EXPO Center in East Moline, IL.
The inaugural women’s wrestling event will bring nationally ranked programs from North Central College, Wartburg College, Simpson College and others to the Quad Cities.
“Augustana is thrilled to host its first D3 women’s wrestling national invitational at The Bend XPO in the Quad Cities this year,” Tony Willaert, Head Coach of Augustana College Wrestling said. “We’re grateful for the support of our local community partners. We’re looking forward to watching the sport grow and seeing new programs established to be able to join the invitational next year.”
Spectators are welcomed to the Bend EXPO Center to catch the action. Wrestling will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Local vendors such as Dick’s House of Sport will also be at the event.
