“On behalf of the Visit Quad Cities Board of Directors, our team, and the Quad Cities regional destination, we are honored to serve as host of the 2023 and 2024 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships,” said Dave Herrell, President and CEO, Visit Quad Cities.  “The strong partnership among the NAIA, St. Ambrose University, TPC Deere Run, and Visit Quad Cities will deliver an incredible experience for the NAIA’s student-athletes, administrators, and fans.  TPC Deere Run is one of the best golf venues in the U.S. and we look forward to showcasing it during the women’s championship which is the first time in our history we’ve host this event. Hosting women’s intercollegiate athletic events is vitally important to us and it is an emphasis area of our Sports QC Powered By Visit Quad Cities direction. This is a privilege, and we are grateful for the NAIA’s confidence in the Quad Cities.”

The 156-player field consists of 19 automatic qualifying teams, who won their respective conference/independent tournament or were ranked in the final Top 25 for the conference’s second automatic berth. Automatic berths are given to conferences who have six or more schools declare at the beginning of the season. Conferences with 12+ schools who finish the conference tournament are eligible for a second automatic qualifier, as long as the second team is rated in the final regular-season Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

One host berth was given to St. Ambrose (Iowa) and 10 total at-large team berths. At-large teams were determined using the final regular-season Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. To access the poll, CLICK HERE.

To receive an individual automatic berth, the conference medalist must be from a team who did not win the conference team title or be an All-Tournament Team honoree from the previous year’s national championships that did not qualify otherwise. To earn an at-large individual berth, the selection is determined by the NAIA Women’s Golf Executive Committee.

The Quad Cities previously hosted the men’s tournament in 2009-2011, 2016-2018, and 2021-2022.
